Still Swoops To Bring Taiwo To Luton Town

LUTON boss has been reunited with Solomon Taiwo – the creative midfielder who came to prominence while playing under him at .

Still signed Taiwo from Sutton United while in charge of the Daggers in 2007 and the 27-year-old went on to become an integral part of their first-team.

His performances for the Essex side earned him a move to Championship side Cardiff City in 2009 but he failed to win a regular spot in the Bluebirds’ side and was loaned back to Dagenham in 2010/11.

The 27-year-old spent a spell on loan with last season before being released by Cardiff in the summer.

He has since had brief stints with sides Mansfield Town and .

Still is pleased to have brought Taiwo to Kenilworth Road but says it may be some time before his gets his Hatters debut.

Speaking to the club’s website, Still said: “Solomon is a bright boy, and a strong and good passing footballer who can really compete.

“He is by no means fit to be included straight away, but once he’s up and at it he will be a really great addition to the squad.”
