IT'S been a busy day at Stockport County, with the club agreeing two signings and offering former number assistant manager Alan Lord the role of head of development.
Lord, who has recently been working as the club's consultant scout, has been offered the new role on a long-term basis subject to “satisfactory contract negotiations”.
County chairman Lord Peter Snape commented: “I welcome Alan back in a long term capacity as head of development.
“We will be meeting Alan early next week to finalise his contract, the outline of which was agreed today.
“Alan brings back to the club his enormous knowledge and experience which will help us formulate our plans for next season.”
Joining the Hatters in playing capacities are Javan Vidal and Lee Bullock.
Vidal, 23, spent his football education with Manchester City and has played first-team football during loan spells with Grimsby, Aberdeen, Derby and Chesterfield.
Bullock arrives at Edgeley Park on loan from York City.
The midfielder, who also includes Cardiff, Hartlepool and Bradford among his former clubs, joins the Hatters on a deal running until the end of the season.
