In-demand star Abdul Abdulmalik climbed off the bench to help Matt Rush bag a hat-trick – but Boreham Wood had to settle for a point as Tamworth grabbed a last-gasp equaliser.
There has been much speculation this summer about the future of Wood ace Abdulmalik after Wood turned down £1million from Swedish side Djurgarden.
Having not trained fully this week, boss Luke Garrard named him sub before introducing the winger after the break.
And while it looked like last season’s playoff finalists were on course for victory, Ben Milnes converted a stoppage-time penalty.
