MARK WILSON has taken over as manager of South Normanton Athletic following Tommy Leighton’s decision to step down from the role.
Leighton only took the reins of the Central Midlands League South Division club last month but work commitments have forced him to take on the less time consuming role of player coach.
Former Borrowash Victoria boss Wilson fills the vacant managerial position, with his assistant while with the Vics, Brian Franks, joining as the club’s number two.
