Televised FA Cup First Round Games Announced

THE Football Association have announced the three FA Cup first round ties that will be shown live on TV.

THE Football Association have announced the three FA Cup first round ties that will be shown live on TV.

Warrington Town will kick off the first round on Friday, November 7 as they host Exeter City live on BBC 2.

On Sunday, FC Halifax Town welcome Bradford City for a Yorkshire derby live on BT Sport and the same channel will then broadcast Preston North End’s visit to Havant & Waterlooville on Monday evening.

Each club will receive £67,500 in FA live broadcast fees.

Televised FA Cup first round ties: 

FRIDAY 7 NOVEMBER 2014 – 7.55pm
Warrington Town v Exeter City – Live on BBC2

SUNDAY 9 NOVEMBER 2014 – 12.00pm
FC Halifax Town v Bradford City – Live on BT Sports

MONDAY 10 NOVEMBER 2014 – 8.00pm
Havant & Waterlooville v Preston North End – Live on BT Sports

The FA have also released the list of games move to Sunday, November 9 to feature in the BBC’s FA Cup Final Score as well as those selected for highlights.

SATURDAY 8 NOVEMBER 2014 – 3.00pm
Weston Super Mare v Doncaster Rovers
Barnet v Wycombe Wanderers

The FA fee for the above is £6,750 per club.

SUNDAY 9 NOVEMBER 2014 – 2.00pm
The ties that will feature in the BBC’s FA Cup Final Score with Jason Mohammed on Sunday 9 November will be:

Gosport Borough v Colchester United
Braintree Town v Chesterfield
Portsmouth v Aldershot Town
Stevenage v Maidstone United
Coventry City v Worcester City
Blyth Spartans v Altrincham
Forest Green Rovers v Scunthorpe United
Norton United v Gateshead

The FA fee for the above is £12,500 per club.
