DOVER ATHLETIC moved up to eighth in the National League after thrashing Braintree 6-1 and manager Chris Kinnear was named our Top Boss.
Striker Ricky Miller scored four times in the rout and he was joined up top in our team by Gateshead’s Danny Johnson, who netted twice at Maidstone.
Jake Kirby also grabbed two for Tranmere and he was joined in midfield by Dagenham man of the match Andre Boucaud, Liam Noble of Forest Green and Wrexham’s Mark Carrington.
Carrington’s team-mate Jordan Evans was put in our four-man defence alongside Kieran Murtagh of Woking, Lincoln’s Luke Waterfall and Southport full-back Ryan Higgins.
American stopper Brendan Moore pulled off a number of impressive saves for Torquay against Aldershot and he was chosen as our keeper between the sticks.
