Covid-19 has robbed legends of a fitting farewell, says goalscoring legend Graeme Armstrong

The last 18 months has seen the lower-league scene disrupted as two seasons were brought to a premature end by the Football Association.

NORTH-EAST goalscoring legend Graeme Armstrong believes one aspect of the impact Covid-19 has made on the Non-League game has been ignored.
The last 18 months has seen the lower-league scene disrupted as two seasons were brought to a premature end by the Football Association.
Those decisions also spelt the end to the careers of a number of experienced players around the country without giving them a chance to say a proper farewell to the clubs they have served so well.
