AN uninspiring encounter turned out goalless with few chances at either end. Luke Pilling, a recent signing in the Rangers’ goal, was so untroubled that he could almost have had a cup of tea.
Luca Navaro put an early free-kick for the visitors straight at Greg Hartley after Jake Charles had been fouled and a couple of long throws by James O’Neill saw the second one needing Hartley to clear with his feet.
