FOOTBALL is back at so are the fans. It’s no surprise how many people missed watching their teams over the past 18 months.

On Tuesday night, more than 2,300 attended a mouth-watering early season NPL Premier clash between South Shields and FC United. Those with good memories may recall it was one of the final fixtures before the first shutdown back in March 2020.
On the same evening, more than 800 were at Marine’s FA Cup replay (remember those?) to watch a thrilling tie against Workington and, perhaps, in some form making up for not being able to see Neil Young’s side in third ...
