I REFER to M Brown’s comments in last week’s NLP regarding Craig Elliott’s dismissal from Boston Utd and to say supporters were shocked and horrified is to say the least a gross over exaggeration as I think most saw it coming.
Firstly, chairman David Newton is a very fair man and has given all his previous managers a fair crack of the whip before pulling the trigger.
In view of that, the decision would NOT be entirely based on losing three home league games on the trot as suggested.
