THIS was the first time in seven years that Ashby Ivanhoe had appeared at this stage of the FA Cup, but there was no shock as Bromsgrove, two levels above Ashby in the pyramid, ran out comfortable winners.
As expected, Bromsgrove were comfortable in possession from the outset, with Conor Tee and Luke Rowe controlling midfield.
Ashby keeper Sam Taylor was called on twice before the opener. Liam Donnehy tripped Miro Pais in the area, and up stepped Tee to give Bromsgrove the lead.
