Ace Appiah on target for Wood again

THERE was no upset of the form book at Park View Road as title contenders Boreham Wood won at strugglers Welling United.
Although only winning by odd goal, the hosts dominated from start to finish to complete the double over the Wings.
Early on, Femi Ilesanmi and Kwesi Appiah were off target before the hosts settled with the two teams sparring for openings. The next chance fell to Appiah just after the half hour when he headed over from Matt Rush’s cross.
