COVENTRY Sphinx pulled themselves clear of the relegation zone with victory at Boldmere.
The Mikes took the lead in the 17th minute – Theo Rowe’s cross was headed in by Ben George after good work on the left.
Six minutes later, Sphinx equalised through Finlay Shorrock from the edge of the box, after a mesmerising run from ex-Mike Luke Shearer.
From hereon, it was anybody’s game, but the visitors began to look the better oiled machine in the match’s third quarter.
