Quakers close gap on play-off places

TWO second-half goals from Matty Cornish dealt a blow to Hereford’s play-off hopes.
In the early stages, Hereford keeper Theo Richardson was swiftly off his line to prevent Cedric Main picking up on a short back-header from Kyle Howkins.
And then Will Hatfield forced a save from Richardson after neat play from Jack Maskell and Main. At the other end, Toby Lees produced a fine block to foil Yusifu Ceesay. But, despite Hereford forcing six first-half corners, none of them came to anything bar one Howkins header easily saved by Peter Jameson...
