TORQUAY UNITED returned to Devon with three key points courtesy of a 35th-minute winner from Jordan Young.
Tonbridge Angels matched their visitors in almost every department but lacked the clinical finish that Young executed. After losing possession on the left, Torquay broke rapidly, which culminated with a shot from Matt Jay that struck a post with the rebound falling to Young who cleanly struck home his chance.
