Red-hot Town ruin Greening’s big day

ALFRETON Town, on the back of six defeats in seven, ruined Jono Greening’s 200th match in charge of illness-hit Scarborough Athletic to ignite their play-off bid.
After 30 seconds, Scarborough’s Richie Bennett mishit a shot wide from a great position.
Almost immediately, former Seadog Jake Day sent Lewis Salmon into space and he was able to beat Ryan Whitley to open the scoring.
After 14 minutes, the Seadogs – able to name only three substitutes – got more bad news as defender Cam Brown limped off.
