A POSITIVE performance from Scott Bartlett’s men at both ends of the pitch saw Weston-super-Mare hold visitors Chelmsford City to a draw.
Slight controversy surrounded an opportunity for Louis Britton just past the half-hour mark for Weston, who rounded Chris Haigh and slotted in on his left foot after a good run by Dan Martin.
With the linesman’s flag up for offside, the referee pulled the play back for a foul on Martin 25 yards out. Luke Coulson curled narrowly over from the set-piece.
