FALMOUTH TOWN 2 BIDEFORD 1

■ FALMOUTH Town advanced to the first qualifying round of the FA Cup with this deserved home win against fellow Southern League Division One South side Bideford Town.
Falmouth opened the scoring after 25 minutes when Jared Sims latched on to a ball over the top of the Bideford back line from Ned Symonds, and calmly passed the ball into the net past Shaun Semmens in the Bideford goal.
Bideford equalised in bizarre circumstances when Falmouth keeper Coxhead grounded the ball from a goalkick from his hands, and Matt Buchan crept up from behind him and hooked it...
