■ LIAM Atkinson was the toast of Longridge Town after scoring a hat-trick as his side demolished Northern Counties East visitors Emley 5-1, booking their passage into the FA Cup’s next phase.
Connor High bagged goals either side of half-time to set the Lancashire side on their way with Atkinson then netting an eight minute hat-trick before the visitors’ late consolation.
Atherton LR won their all-NWCL tie at FC St Helens 2-0, goals from Owen Green and Thomas Romano just before the break doing the damage, while Chadderton beat their league rivals Irlam 1-0courtes...
