■ABBEY Hulton United staged a thrilling fightback to book their place in the first qualifying round of the FA Cup, clawing their way back from 3-0 down to win through 4-3 against Coventry United.
The Stoke-based side looked dead and buried at the break as their United Counties League visitors roared into a three-goal lead through Benjamin Adomako, Scott Hammond and Cameron Dunn.
The tie began to swing just before the hour when John Bristow pulled a goal back and he helped himself to a second before the game went into added time.
