REFEREE MISTAKE FORCES REPLAY

AN FA CUP tie was ordered to be replayed after the referee failed to acknowledge and enforce an extra-time law change.
Knaresborough Town were 2-1 down to Bridlington Town in extra time of their the extra preliminary round clash on August 2 when they attempted to make a fifth substitution in the 106th minute, only to be refused by the referee.
Ten-man Bridlington went on to hold on for victory but the matter was reported to The FA Professional Game Board.
