SUTTON COLDFIELD 3 RUGBY BOROUGH 2

■ SUTTON got the better of recently promoted Rugby Borough at The Domino’s Arena.
The opening exchanges were fairly even before Sam Smith scored from a corner to put Sutton ahead in the 11th minute.
Three minutes later a great through ball to Reece Gibson by James McGrady and he took it to the edge of the box before firing home.
Rugby pulled one back in the 27th minute when Bradley Stretton squeezed one in at the foot of a post.
Sutton increased their lead in the 56th minute when Sean Devlin twisted and turned in the box before firing high into the net
