■ BRADFORD Park Avenue edged past Redcar Athletic on penalties to progress after a tense encounter.
The first half produced few clear chances, with both sides cancelling each other out.
The deadlock was finally broken after 65 minutes when Miles La Bastide headed Avenue in front. Redcar refused to give in and struck back late, as Danny Lay capitalised on a defensive slip to level the scores with just three minutes remaining.
