WARE faced an uphill struggle from the off in their tie after debutant goalkeeper Max Woodford was sent off with just five minutes on the clock.
For the second time against Hadley, Lewis Thomas took over between the posts, but could do little to stop Romey Meoded’s fine shot from out on the right.
Ware were not outplayed, however, and played some attacking football that brought a penalty in added time converted by Theophilus Ofori.
