A HARD-FOUGHT tie saw Diamonds progress, with early and late goals in the second half proving the difference.
A bright Malvern opening saw the visitors almost pounce on a first-minute defensive error.
However, they deservedly took the lead in the 19th minue after Ryan Brunt flicked on a long ball for Piers Walton to fire home.
Diamonds pushed in an even first half and found an equaliser after 38 minutes when a deflected shot fell to David Adegbola, who applied a neat finish.
