■BRADFORD Park Avenue advanced on Friday night beating Heaton Stannington at a very blustery Horsfall Stadium.
Neither defence coped well with the wind, giving fans an exciting evening of entertainment. After 12 minutes, Jak Mc-Court’s right-wing free kick saw Tom Flynn come for the ball, get both hands on it, unchallenged, but he could not hang on and the ball dribbled over the line.
Midway through the half, Joe Ackroyd’s long ball forward took an age to come down.

Flynn tried to reach it, but Tom Corner got to it first and flicked home.
