Game abandoned after serious Fogden injury

BASINGSTOKE and Dorchester renewed acquaintances just four days after meeting in the league but saw their tie abandoned due to a serious injury to Magpies midfielder Wes Fogden.
Fogden suffered the injury on 33 minutes and, following a long delay, the referee opted to abadon the game.
The Dorchester man was later safely transported into an ambulance.
The visitors’ goal had led a charmed life in the opening minutes.
Scott Armsworth rose at the far post to head a corner goalwards, only to see it cleared off the line....
