THE dropping temperature on Tuesday evening gave that first small glimpse of what’s ahead.
Grateful for putting a jacket in the car, I popped along to Newmarket Town v Canvey Island in the week for an FA Cup replay.
With replays now scrapped in the proper rounds, they have become a rare thing in modern day football nowadays.
