Ebbsfleet Add A Fourth New Defender

Shane Huke has become the fourth defender to join Ebbsfleet United this summer.

SHANE HUKE has become the fourth defender to join Ebbsfleet United this summer.

Huke, who started his career playing in Australia with Rochedale Rovers, says he was eager to join the Fleet to be reunited with Steve Brown, who was assistant boss during his time with Dover.

 

Shane HukeSpeaking to the Ebbsfleet United website, Huke said: “The main reason I was attracted to Ebbsfleet was Steve Brown who I worked under at Dover.

“As soon as he gave me the call I was interested in what he had to offer – he was a great footballer in his time and has a great understanding of the game and actually wants to play football, not long-ball, which is a big draw for me.”
