JAMIE RAINFORD has become the sixth summer signing at Northern Premier League club AFC Fylde.

The forward is a seasoned Step 3 campaigner, having spent time at that level with Marine, while also having spells with Chester FC and FC Halifax Town.

Fylde boss Dave Challinor is delighted to have been able to bring the frontman to Kellamergh Park and told the club’s website: “He’s a proven goal scorer at this level having scored over 35 goals for Marine in his last spell in this division.

“He’ll undoubtedly get opportunities to score goals again at this level and he is desperate to prove what he can do but for us, if we can get him enjoying his football I’m of no doubt he’ll prove a real asset.”
