ITV To Televise Bishop Stortford’s First Round Tie

BISHOP’S STORTFORD will pocket £67,500 after their FA Cup First Round tie at home to Northampton Town was chosen to be televised.

Rod Stringer’s Bishops beat higher division opposition in the form of Forest Green Rovers on Saturday and will be eying another upset when the Cobblers, who are currently second-bottom of League Two, visit Woodside Park.

The tie, which will take place at 2pm on Sunday, November 10, will be screened on ITV.

Two further First Round ties will also be televised, with details of those games being announced later this week.
