Bore Arrives At Boston United

Peter Bore has joined Conference North club Boston United following his release from Gateshead earlier this summer.

PETER BORE has joined Conference North club Boston United following his release from Gateshead earlier this summer.

Bore, 25, is renowned for his versatility, having played as a defender, winger and striker over the course of his career.

That career began at Grimsby Town and he made over 150 appearances for the Mariners between 2005 and 2011.

Bore spent the first half of the 2011/12 season with Harrogate Town before a one-year spell at Lincoln City.

The Grimsby-born player then signed for Gateshead in January 2013, going on to feature ten times for the Tynesiders in the Conference Premier.

Speaking about Bore’s arrival at Boston, Pilgrims boss Dennis Greene said: “Peter is a great signing for us.

“He is equally adept at playing in two or three positions and will add real versatility to our squad — not to mention undoubted ability.”
