Welcome to the latest update of Fantasy Non-League 2018/19. Today's update covers the period Sunday 14th October 2018 through to Saturday 20th October 2018.
I thought this week we would have a look at the actual teams involved in this season's FNL. I am going to do the first four leagues this week and the remainder in a couple of weeks.
The National Premier League is headed by Salford City both in the real world and in the FNL. Harrogate Town and Wrexham are second and third in FNL but they are reversed in the real world with Wrexham sitting second and Harrogate fourth.
At the bottom in both worlds is Braintree Town. The National League North has Chorley on top in both worlds but below them is slightly different with Kidderminster in second (FNL) and fourth (Real World) and Bradford Park Avenue are third (Real World) and seventh (FNL).
At the bottom of FNL is Nuneaton Town but bottom in the real world is Southport.
The National League South has Billericay Town at the top of both worlds. In the real-world Welling Utd are second but sixth in FNL. Third in the real world is Woking but FNL sees them in second. Third in FNL is Torquay Utd who are actually ninth in the real world. This huge difference between the two worlds for the Devon side is down to Torquay's great run in the FA Cup.
Finally, at the bottom in both worlds is Weston-Super-Mare. The final league for this week is the Evo-Stik North Premier North.
This league gives us our first different leader scenario with Warrington Town top of FNL and third in the real world and
Scarborough Athletic leading the way in the real world and second in the FNL. Gainsborough Trinity are third in FNL and seventh in the real world. Bottom in both worlds is North Ferriby Utd.
