Fantasy Non-League Update – November 9, 2019

Welcome to the latest update of 2019/20. Today's update covers the period Sunday 3rd November 2019 through to Saturday 9th November 2019.
This week we have the second part of our look at how the FNL league's shape up compared to the real world.
The Isthmian Premier League is headed by Folkstone Invicta in the FNL but they are second in the real world. Horsham are top of the league in the real world and they are second in the FNL table. Third in the FNL table is who are fourth in the real-world table. At the bottom in the FNL is Corinthian Casuals and that is repeated in the real world. The Southern Premier League Central (FNL) is led by Hednesford Town and they are 3rd in the real world. FNL second is who are fourth in the real world. Third in the FNL is Tamworth who are leading the way in the real . At the bottom of the FNL table is Leiston and that is mirrored in the real world.
In the Southern Premier League South, the FNL table is led by Poole Town but they are 7th in the real world. Second in the FNL table are Hayes & Yeading Utd who are, wait for this 18th in the real world. Tiverton Town are third in the FNL league but in the real world they are in 2nd position. At the bottom of the FNL table is and again that is repeated in the real world..
The Mixture is of course made up of seven leagues, in the FNL it is led by who are top of their league in the real world. In second place (FNL) is who are second in their league in the real world and that is repeated with the FNL third placed team in The Mixture who are third in their real world. At the bottom of The Mixture is FC Romania who are 16th in their league which is fifth from bottom in the real world.
Finally, before I finish can I mention Hayes & Yeading Utd, you maybe baffled why they are 2nd in the FNL and 18th in the real world. Well it is quite simple really it all comes down to cup runs. The lower league teams can play far more cup games than the bigger teams higher up the non-league pyramid. Take Dagenham & Redbridge for example they entered the FA Cup in the fourth qualifying round lost to Carshalton and gain the huge total of -7pts from the FA Cup. However Hayes & Yeading got 120pts from their FA Cup exploits.
