Pennock delighted after Barrow secure vital win

manager Ady Pennock expressed his delight after his side gained a vital three points in their battle to avoid relegation from the by beating 1-0 at Nethermoor Park.
The Bluebirds moved two points above the National League drop zone thanks to Asa Hall's second half header.
There were contrasting emotions at Nethermoor Park as Barrow's victory confirmed Guiseley's relegation, in what has been a disappointing season for The Lions.
Speaking to The North West Evening Mail after last night's victory, Pennock said, ““I've got to say it was a complete team performance, from the back to the front, we worked hard and got a deserved win, there was a lot on the line for both sides in this one.
“All the players have come off tired, the work rate was impressive, and that was something I demanded and got.
“That was for the fan-base, they came here in good number and were so loud throughout.”
Barrow are currently two points above 21st place and  hold a crucial game in hand over The Cards. Pennock's side will be hoping to take another major step towards survival when The Bluebirds travel to high flying on Saturday afternoon.
