WALKING away from the National League Promotion Final at Wembley in May, I felt Chesterfield would be the team to beat this year.
Going into this season there was the sense they had a lot more momentum following the shoot-out defeat to Notts County than the previous year when they lost to Solihull Moors in the semi-final.
Manager Paul Cook then went out this summer and signed some very good players. Those additions have elevated them further.
