Who could have predicted that the much-discussed first-ever year without FA Cup replays would unfold like this?
That is, a raft of Non-League clubs knocked out during extra-time or on penalties and left to ponder what might have been. Those draws after 90 minutes would have earned them a second bite at the cherry in any previous year.
