BIRMY GIVES IN TO ROCKY ROMANCE

MICHAEL Birmingham has stepped down as joint manager of struggling Bognor Regis Town – admitting he has fallen out of love with the game.
The charismatic Rocks playing legend of over 500 club appearances, completed an emotional return to Nyewood Lane last December to team up with Jamie Howell.
The pair failed to rescue the Rocks from relegation in Isthmian Premier division last season, and have suffered a difficult start to life at Step 4 having crashed out of the FA Cup to Essex Senior League side Hackney Wick last Sunday.
