ALVECHURCH hope an astonishing SIX-AND-A-HALF YEARS in limbo will finally end with the local council promising a make-or-break planning call this week.
Chairman Richard Thorndike is expecting a recommendation from Bromsgrove District t Council’s planning department on Friday over plans to build 25 houses on Church’s Lye Meadow headquarters.
The club owns a one-fifth share of the land with the homes set to unlock the £1.3 million required to transform a part of its new sports hub The Hayes into a ground fit for Step 3 football and beyond.
