ALFRETON Town say Billy Heath has left a “lasting legacy” at Impact Arena.
Heath quit as Reds boss following their 5-0 defeat at Oxford City on Tuesday night. The 53-year-old led the club over 300 times, guiding them to back-to-back play-off campaigns in National League North, two Derbyshire Senior Challenge Cup titles and a number of memorable FA Cup and FA Trophy runs.
After almost seven years at the helm, Heath was the second longest in the club’s history and a statement read: “Billy has left a lasting legacy at Alfreton Town.
