SUTTON UNITED and Lincoln City have both been rewarded with ties against Premier League opposition in the FA Cup fifth round.

It’s the first time two Non-League clubs have made it into the fifth round of the world’s oldest cup competition and the pair learned their fate last night.

Lincoln, who upset Championship leaders 3-1 on Saturday, were the first of the two clubs to be pulled out of the hat and they will travel to Burnley.

It was Sutton, however, who netted the tie of the round as they were paired with giants Arsenal, who they will welcome to Gander Green Lane.

The U’s, who play on a synthetic 3G pitch, deservedly beat Championship club Leeds United on Sunday and now have a London derby to look forward to.

U’s boss Paul Doswell said: “I’ve just picked myself up off the floor, to be honest. We talked about the Wimbledon game (in the third round) being our FA Cup final, then Leeds United was our European Cup final.

“This will be like our World Cup final. It’s as big as that for us. To have Arsenal coming to Gander Green Lane is just incredible.”
