NON-LEAGUE’S FA Cup heroes Lincoln City, Stourbridge and Sutton United are battling it out for the FA’s Emirates FA Cup Giant-Killing Award.

Danny Cowley’s National League leaders Lincoln beat Oldham Athletic, Ipswich Town, Brighton & Hove Albion and Premier League side Burnley on their historic run to the FA Cup quarter-finals.

The Imps, who were eventually knocked out by Arsenal, became the first Non-League side to reach that stage of the competition in 103 years.

Arsenal also beat Sutton United in the fifth round to end a remarkable run that stirred memories of the U’s cup upset past.

Paul Doswell’s men dumped out three Football League sides on the way – Cheltenham Town, League One AFC Wimbledon and Championship promotion hopefuls Leeds United.

And Evo-Stik NPL outfit Stourbridge hit the FA Cup headlines once again, winning five games and beating League One Northampton to reach the third round.

The Non-League trio are up against League One Millwall in the nationwide vote that will see the winner presented with the award by Ronnie Radford at the Emirates FA Cup final in May.

Fans have until midnight on Wednesday, May 10 to vote and should do so by visiting thefa.com/giantkilling

Lincoln city deserve it. They were robbed in the fa trophy against york in both legs due to the very poor officials. They were not worthy to be on the pitch and robbed the imps and fans of a trip to wembley

How bitter. You had your chance, but blew it by fielding a weakened team. Well done on the title though, that is deserved.
