■ STAMFORD were well deserved winners knocking out higher level opponents Redditch, with a goal in each half.
The Daniels took the lead when Harry Vince’s pass found Cosmos Matwasa in space, he turned and fired in of the inside of a post.
Redditch could have equalised when Tiago Nassunculo raced clear, but Dan Wallis was down quick to smother the ball. Cameron Johnson was unlucky when a great bit of skill opened up space only to see his shot deflected wide.
