Pontefract Collieries ended all-square after a real humdinger of a battle in the FA Cup.
Charnock led through an early Aaron Griffith header, before Jack Shepherd was given his marching orders for the visitors after a high boot made contact.
A melee as the teams left the pitch at the break saw the teams both left with 10 men each.
The hosts doubled their lead from the spot as Carl Grimshaw scored.
But Pontefract weren’t about to give in and two goals from Gavin Allott and then Jake Picton forced a reply...
