NEWCASTLE Town provided an FA Cup upset as a goal in each half resulted in them knocking out Step 3 side Stafford Rangers.
Northern Premier Division One West side Newcastle sit a tier below their opponents but goals from James Askey and Jake Lovatt was enough to earn them a cup scalp.
Newcastle had the better of the early exchanges and nearly had a 17th minute lead when Connor Russo saw his header tipped around the post by goalkeeper Cameron Belford.
