■ BARTON Town were dumped out of the FA Cup after suffering a heavy 6-1home defeat to Carlton Town. It all started well for the Humberside club through Lewis Stephens’ early finish, only for the visitors to turn the game on its head.
Niall Hylton struck in the 47th minute before two quick-fire goals from Nathan Watson and Ewan Robson made it 3-1.
Ash Chambers added a fourth, Robson made it five and Liam Moran topped off the scoring to ease the NPL Midlands side through.
Rossington Main secured their place in the next round with a 3-2 victory against Newark Town.
