ABDURAMANE SANI’S double was enough to see Spalding edge out Rushall in a tightly-contested affair.
Sani fired the visitors ahead just before the half-hour mark. After the ball came through the midfield, the attacker’s first-time curling effort from 25 yards out flew into the top corner.
He then doubled his tally in the dying embers of the match while the Pics pushed forward searching for an equaliser to take the game to penalties.
