SHILDON produced a professional display to knock out 2018 Vase finalists Stockton on their own patch. Dean Thexton was the Railwaymen’s twogoal hero.
Both sides were protecting unbeaten runs, Stockton unable to repeat their 3-0 FA Cup win over Shildon in September. After Kev Hayes had an effort saved by visitors keeper Shaun Newbrook, Thexton scored 13 minutes in.
