ST MARTINS are looking for a new manager after James Etherington stood down from the North West Counties Division One South basement side after Tuesday’s 3-1 home defeat by Eccleshall.
Etherington, 29, who played for Grimsby Town, Wrexham and Maidstone, had been appointed in May last year.
The club’s director of football Steve Garnett said: “His tenure has been made difficult by personal factors but the football struggles were mainly due to the lack of continuity of players, staff and match/training time due to Covid.”
