Athletic win 7-6 on penalties
ATHLETIC Newham scored twice in the last 15 minutes to force penalties and then break the hearts of Bexhill United, winning the shootout 7–6.
The Pirates started brightly, passing the ball very well, and deservedly took the lead after 11 minutes. They moved the ball down the left wing before it was crossed into the penalty area.
The ball travelled right across the box and fell for Jack Shonk, who fired into the roof of the net.
